I get bored sometimes and I love spaceships. I *really* love Doctor Who model spaceships more than any other kind too and the Cybermen have, over the years, had a bunch of corkers. And so, I occasionally try my hand at doodling some.
The Moonbase

If I had to choose a favourite, it would be a close run thing between the original Tenth Planet ships and these. I reckon The Moonbase would win out by a nose though because they are wonderful 50’s-esque flying saucers and, well, you can’t really beat flying saucers, can you?
The Wheel In Space

Possibly the strangest Cybership design in all Who, looking as it does like a meat tenderizer crossed with a vacuum nozzle with some bits stuck on but that’s also why I like them. They’re kind of wrong in their own little way and knocking together model spaceships should result in the odd one or two that, frankly, looks freakish and inexplicable.
Revenge Of The Cybermen

The Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon style Cybership from Revenge is undone a little bit by looking more than a bit plasticy in colour but harking back to thirties sparks-out-the-back rocket ship design is always a fantastic choice in my books. And you know, even though it was one of only a few stories the video shop had back in the early VHS years (and so, I watched it loads), I still have a soft spot for the story. I just really dislike the cybermats in it.
