I took a few liberties in giving The Great One and Ro-Man a bit of a spookier appearance but I didn\u2019t want to shift too far from the pretty much perfect space helmet and gorilla suit of the film. I mean, mainly because it\u2019s brilliant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like a lot of the more notorious films that get caught up in some sort of nerd-hell induced \u201cworst film ever\u201d canon, it\u2019s mainly just kind of a nice, fairly entertaining and most definitely harmless watch. I would sooner Robot Monster than anything in the entire Christopher Nolan catalogue, right? Give me the space helmets and bubbles any day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For reasons I won\u2019t go into now, I find Robot Monster pairs exceptionally well with <a href=\"https:\/\/tardis.wiki\/wiki\/The_Sontaran_Experiment_(TV_story)\">Doctor Who And The Sontaran Experiment<\/a>. Both only take an hour each to watch too and, well, you don\u2019t want to know how many times I\u2019ve crammed a double bill in but it is genuinely a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robot Monster is one of my favourite films to chill out to and this is one of the scenes in the film I love the most.
